The intriguing involvement that optical
art arises in the observer inspired the
hypnotizing design of this rug, composed
of 80% silk and 20% Himalayan wool
weft together by Nepalese master
artisans. Featuring a .07cm-high design,
a .05cm-high base, and a density of
152,000 knot/sqm, the piece is
distinguished by the striking illusion of a
blue vortex with blurred edges. Multiple
